JORDAN HACKL
WATERFOWL
Jordan Hackl has been doing taxidermy for 14 years, competing his entire career. He has been lucky enough to win some awards over the years, but according to him, he has been even luckier to have met some of his best friends in this industry. He commented, “I encourage everyone to come up and pick my brain at the show, if you know me at all you'll know I'm always down to talk taxidermy (maybe a little too much lol), and I really enjoy meeting new people, so come say hi.” He added, “In my seminar I'll be discussing a range of topics, I call it "The Theory of Bird Taxidermy" and seminar is to really get down to what is going on in a bird and why we do the things that we do as a bird taxidermist and some of the common problems areas people run into and what's causing them. His goal is always to teach people how to teach themselves while showing them why we do something. He can help people to develop their own how from that why, and encourages people to ask questions. He said, “I'm very excited to meet everyone and judge your guys show, see y'all soon!"

JACOB CLARK
MAMMAL \ GAMEHEAD
Jacob Clark as our 2026 mammal / gamehead judge. Jacob started taxidermy at the age of 13, so 35 years in the industry now. “My dad got me into the industry as he did it as a part-time job.” Jacob is a member of the Arkansas association. It opened my eyes as to where it could take me, which is literally all over the world, teaching and judging shows as far as China and New Zealand, and getting to hunt all over as well. The best part of that is I’ve met some of the nicest people/friends all over the world. Some of the accomplishments that I’ve achieved include national champion life-size small mammal and national champion large animal life-size, and North American champion with a turkey, 7 breakthrough best of shows, 6 Wasco awards and a lot of state champion awards from several states as well. I really enjoy seeing others succeed at this industry, and I’ll do my best to help/guide them with what little knowledge I have built up over the years. Make sure you don’t miss my seminar on Friday, May 15th, on small mammal pedestal mounts.
