WHY THE JOIN LTA?
Louisiana Taxidermy Associate (LTA) Membership is required to participate in the LTA Convention & Competition and other events. However, membership with the LTA also has additional benefits no matter what your skill level is. Our members enjoy sharing information with each other and look forward to showing off the talents they have acquired.
SKILL LEVELS
- PROFESSIONAL TAXIDERMISTS: Anyone who is practicing taxidermy and receiving payment for their work
YEARLY MEMBERSHIPS
 INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP: Single taxidermists, or teens 18 and older, are required to pay for individual membership dues. The Individual Member will receive a Membership Card to be presented upon entering the competition. Individual Rate: $60.00 |
 LTA FAMILY MEMBERSHIP: Membership covers the taxidermist, their spouse, and non-participating children. The adults will each be issued a Membership Card. Any child that wishes to participate in competitions must obtain either a Youth or Individual Membership depending on their age. Family Membership Rate: $60.00 |
 YOUTH MEMBERSHIP: Children 18 and under participating in competition must apply for a Youth membership if not covered un the LTA Family membership. Youth membership is ½ of regular membership dues: Youth Membership Rate: $30.00 |

All Membership fees will need to be renewed prior to the Annual Convention & Competion.
No. As there are various competition levels and optional categories of competions at Convention, each will have it's own fee per item entered that must be paid separately. These fees are clearly marked on your Convention Registration Form.
